  • Doctor of Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania
  • Masters of Public Health from Columbia University
  • Three-year fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS) at Indiana University, the first accredited program and the leading surgical training program in the country
  • Only African American graduate in the program

Research and Academic Achievements

  • Presented research at the largest national meetings for FPMRS, winning awards for outstanding research in 2007 and 2008
